Icelandic national selection Söngvakeppnin kicks off on February 18th, with the song submissions window now open until October 4th.
As in previous years, a total of 10 acts will compete in the national selection. The ten entries will be selected by representatives of FTT, FÍH and RÚV. Experienced and popular songwriters are also invited to take part.
Here are the dates for the selection:
- Semi-Final One – February 18
- Semi-Final Two – February 25
- Final – March 4
The competing acts will be announced in January.
